companyCordic HQAbout Cordic

We are a dedicated, professional company whose sole focus is improving the way our customers work. Our products and services are designed to help fleet management companies address their problems and challenges, and realise their possibilities, aspirations and dreams.

Objectives

  • To provide products, services and solutions of the highest quality and deliver the maximum value to our customers to earn their respect and loyalty.
  • To grow by continually providing useful and significant products, services and solutions to markets we already serve—and to expand into new areas that build on our technologies, competencies and customer interests.
  • To achieve sufficient profit to finance our company growth, create value for our shareholders and provide the resources we need to achieve our objectives.

Reliability without Compromise

Taxi Companies are a 24 x 7 operation, and they simply cannot tolerate data systems which crash, lose data, or just don’t work the way they should. Cordic systems are engineered for absolute quality and reliability. We don’t promise anything we can’t deliver – and what we do deliver, works. Guaranteed.

The imitation nightmare

Innovation attracts followers – and the more ground-breaking and successful the innovation, the more followers try to jump on the band-wagon. Cordic’s introduction of a Taxi Despatch System based on GPRS and Pocket PCs is a prime example of this. Various companies have tried to imitate Cordic products – but every imitation has far inferior performance and reliability.

History

Cordic was incorporated in 2002, but our roots go back even further, to the infancy of the modern wireless data revolution. Cordic's founders were designing and developing wireless data systems for a number of leading businesses as early as the 1980s. These include:-

  • UK Automobile Association - private mobile radio network
  • London radio taxis - Taxi despatch system for a fleet of 2500 vehicles
  • DHL - data system for parcel delivery
  • Singapore CityCab - GPS based taxi despatch system for a fleet of over 3000 vehicles.

Cordic was the first company in the World to introduce a GPRS based Data Despatch system. And we are the largest, most proven provider of GPRS based Taxi Despatch systems in the World today.

Strategic Alliances

Cordic has teamed up with wireless operators, hardware manufacturers and software vendors to remain on the cutting edge of mobile technology. Current partners include Vodafone, O2, Orange, T-Mobile and HP.
