2nd November 2009 Cordic Taxis Despatched On Time With New BT System

16th September 2009 Cordic Raised £3,485.70 for East Anglia Children's Hospices
More than 2,000 people flocked to the river's edge at Fen Dittion in Cambridge for the annual Cambridge Dragon Boat Festival. 33 teams raced up the River Cam in Chinese Dragon Boats to raise funds for East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH).  The spectators and participants enjoyed Chinese Lion dancing, amusements and face-painting during the day. In it's fifth year, the festival raised over £20,000 for EACH.

Cordic's team, named Drag N' Drop, competed with gusto and finished second fastest in the second heat with a time of 74.01 seconds, not far behind the overall winning time of 70.70 seconds.  Cordic raised £3,485.70 which was the second highest amount raised by one team. Some of Cordic's customers took part in a Donate Day on 31st July where they donated a specific amount of money per job completed. This raised £730.70 with the remainder coming from donations from customers, suppliers, staff and their sponsorship efforts.

Congratulations to Mr Lee Hewitt from Cambridge who won the case of champagne which was raffled among all donators. A sincere and heartfelt thank you from Cordic to all of our customers, rowers and sponsors for your generous contributions and support.

27th August 2009 Cordic's Mobile Booker gets Council approval
Six O Cars of West Hull, has recently introduced yet another way for customers to book a taxi. A"mobile booker" stands at locations around the city centre and when asked to order a cab, uses a PDA to send the information back to the office and prints out a receipt for the customer.  David Smith, one of the firm's partners said his booker is not allowed to tout for trade, but attracts customers with a fluorescent vest with "see me to book a taxi" printed on it. Hull City Council's licensing department has approved the system and stated "This is clearly in the public interest as it also helps to ensure members of the public looking for transport choose properly licensed vehicles."

8th May 2009 Cordic wins HTC Partner Programme Q1
Cordic won the HTC Ultimate B2B Partner award for selling the most HTC data devices in the first quarter of 2009. HTC run a partner programme each quarter to promote sales of their devices. As a result of the demand for Cordics GPRS based data despatch systems, they were given the top award in the first quarter of 2009. 17 June 2005 - BZP Membership: Cordic Ltd, the leading provider of GPRS based Taxi Data Despatch systems, is pleased to announce its membership of the German Taxi and Hire Association (BZP). Membership of BZP signifies support of the most prestigious German Taxi Associations for Cordic products. Cordic Ltd is proud to be the first British company to achieve the BZP stamp of product approval. Evaluation and approval was conducted by the BZP Technical committee, which has many years of experience in computerised taxi data despatch systems.

03 March 2005 - Cordic Unveils German cPAQ Taxi Despatch System in Geneva - The German version of Cordic cPAQ Taxi Despatch System was unveiled at the 2005 Geneva Motor Show by Cordic, the pioneer of GPRS based Despatch system. Swiss President Samuel Schmid opened the event which this year celebrates its 100th anniversary.

17 February 2005 - Record Revenue - Cordic today announced record revenue for the year ended November 30, 2004. The revenue was increased by 173% over the results in the same period of the previous year. 08 November 2004 - Cordic Mobile Booker - Cordic has launched the new revolutionary Wireless Mobile Booker product. Using GPRS radio network and PocketPC based handheld device such as XDA-II, SPV M2000 or ruggedised tablet PC, trips can be booked from anywhere at anytime. With Bluetooth enabled printer attached to the unit, ticketed confirmation with unique booking number can be issued. This product can be used at supermarkets, Railway stations, hotels, clubs, airports and shopping centres.

20 September 2004 - Record equipment Orders - Cordic today announced that the Company has received a record number of orders for its cPAQ taxi despatch System product. The number of drivers using Cordic Mobile Data Terminals has reached 2000 units. This represents orders from over 50 companies in the UK Taxi market in the last 18 months.

15 August 2004 - Cordic expands in Europe - Cordic announces the launch of  its product range in German language and opening of an office in Zurich, Switzerland (http://www.cordic.ch). The new Swiss based office will focus on delivering and support of Cordic products in Germany, Switzerland, France and Austria.  

02 April 2004 - Cordic Web Booking - Cordic today announced the general availability of cPAQ WebBooker, the latest release of its online booking tool for corporate customers. With new and improved features to make trip bookings as easy as possible. Once booked by customer over Internet, trips can be booked and allocated to nearest taxis automatically. With optional facilities, customers can obtain the details of vehicle, driver, expected time of arrival. They can even track the allocated Taxi in real-time.

08.March 2004 - Cordic signed a Master agreement with Orange Personal Communications Services Limited. Orange and Cordic Ltd today announce a new partnership to offer GPRS mobile services with Cordic Data application Solution in transport Industry. Cordic will utilise Orange SPV M1000 device.

12 February 2004 - Taxi Despatching across the Atlantic. Cordic announced today it was successfully able to despatch trips in real-time from Cambridge (UK) to Taxis equipped with  Cordic Mobile Data units in New Orleans (USA) over the GPRS network. Vehicles were tracked in real-time across the link. The tests were conducted in collaboration with the New Orleans Traffic Centre (NTC) and T-Mobile (USA).

25 March 2003 - Cordic has become Orange Developers member  Cordic is pleased to announce its partnership with Orange Developers Group. This will enable Cordic to participate in the ongoing development and testing of its products on the Orange GPRS network. The Orange group is one of the world’s largest mobile communications companies and a subsidiary of the France Telecom group, with operations in 16 countries across Europe and beyond. It provides a broad range of personal communications services, including GPRS.

29 July 2002 - Cordic signed Business partnership agreement with O2(UK). O2 is a leading GPRS telecommunications service provider. The parties have agreed to provide state of the art GPRS based workforce management solution  to Corporate Customers.
