That's the slogan displayed in the advertising and on the website of All White Taxis Southport, a private hire firm that has been operating in and around the Southport area for nearly 40 years. The current owners, Adrian Hughes and Peter Robertson, were both former drivers; they took over the business in 2003 when the fleet numbered 53 cars.

Today it has more than doubled in size to 110. They carry out contract work for many of the top businesses in the Southport area, as well as Government Civil Service organisations, Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council and local hospitals.

But the feature we are most impressed with about Cordic is their staff, sales, installation and tech support - they have been brilliant, and this stems from their confidence in their product

The current management team instigated a lot of changes when they took over the company. As Adrian Hughes explains " We immediately improved the office and stopped the old link of fare rise = rent rise because the two are totally different factors. We addressed each problem as best we could and firstly, installed a DOS based system within three months. Then in January this year we installed the Cordic Booking and despatch system. To say we've never looked back is understating the extent of our satisfaction with the system.  It gives us in-car PDAs with TomTom Satnav and the HTC screen which is bright and easy to navigate for the drivers, but unobtrusive within the vehicle so that the passengers are not getting their feet caught in wires or knocking their knees on radios and brackets etc".

"The office based system gives us full tracking and playback, and the option of changing our areas or plots to respond to our own improvements and changes in the traffic flow and access (such as roadworks, events and marches).  Adrian Hughes "The Cordic system also enables us to take payment by credit and debit card, either at the time of booking or in the vehicle on the driver's PDA, with almost instant authorisation and on-screen signatures. Because the system works on the GPRS network instead of PMR, we have national coverage".
