CORDIC LAUNCHES FRICTIONLESS OPEN SHARING TO HELP THE TRADE TAKE ON RIDE-HAIL

Cordic introduces revolutionary ability for fleets to offer and accept jobs across networks - effortlessly.

May 13 2025 – Today, Cordic launches Frictionless Open Sharing – a new capability for its pioneering SuperYes job sharing platform that allows fleets to improve service to both passengers and drivers while making more money by working together whatever dispatch system they’re on - without technical integration or manual rekeying. 

This is not just a new feature. It’s a huge leap forward for the trade to take on ride-hail.

Cordic’s move comes in direct response to what the industry has said it wants: the ability to collaborate with all fleets irrespective of their dispatch platform, to grow their businesses and stop leaking jobs to ride-hail.

A recent survey of fleet owners revealed an overwhelming appetite for open, dispatch-agnostic sharing – with the vast majority saying they’re ready to share jobs with others to build supply, service and business.

  • 77% said they’d “welcome the ability to share with any operator no matter what dispatch system they're on”

  • 86% agreed that “when you can't get a cab for a passenger, it gives ride-hail a chance to steal them”

  • 12% of jobs are turned away by the average fleet

    • For a typical operator, that’s £2.5m every year left on the table

    • And for the industry, it’s £820m left wide-open for ride-hail

  • 81% agreed “nowadays, operators need to stop thinking of other operators as rivals and instead as allies to take on ride-hail”

  • 79% agreed “Who I share jobs with is my business and my dispatch provider shouldn't be able to stop me”

Smashing the silos that keep us small

The independent trade has 3X the drivers of ride-hail - but they’re locked within individual fleets and on dispatch systems that don’t interoperate.
