CHANGE-MAKERS WANTED
At Cordic, we’re changing the tech game in the UK’s private hire sector. Our mission is to lead the Smart Fightback for independent fleets against Big Ride-Hail.
Owned by operators and for operators, we provide them with the rock-solid and innovative tools to take on ride-hail.
Backed by the considerable firepower of Oakfield and with offices in St. Ives, near Cambridge and London, we’re a fast-paced, close-knit hybrid team that focuses relentlessly on delivering for our customers.
If you like the idea of changing the game and enabling Davids to take down Goliath, then come and say hello. You’ll have the opportunity to make a tangible impact on the industry and shape the next generation of private hire technology.

THE ROLE
At Cordic, we move fast, wear many hats, and take pride in getting things done. This is a role for someone who thrives on variety - equally happy supporting the leadership team on a key meeting one day, coordinating a company event the next, and fielding an HR question from a colleague the day after that.
As our Operations & Executive Coordinator, you'll play a central role in keeping the business running smoothly. You'll work closely with our CEO and senior leadership team, own our people administration, and be the person who makes things happen behind the scenes. There's no narrow job description here - if it needs doing and it falls to no one else, it probably falls to you. And you'll love that.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Executive & Senior Leadership Support
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the CEO and senior leadership team
Help organise meetings, and key communications
Support the SLT with admin, research, and follow-ups
Manage relationships with key suppliers and external partners (e.g. insurance brokers)
Handle ad hoc requests with good judgement and a can-do attitude
People & HR Coordination
Be the first point of contact for day-to-day HR queries from the team - handling them quickly, professionally, and in confidence
Coordinate onboarding for new starters and off-boarding for leavers, ensuring a smooth experience at both ends
Maintain and update HR documentation, policies, and templates - with support from our external HR advisor
Support the SLT with employee engagement and culture initiatives throughout the year
Events, Culture & Office
Plan and coordinate staff events and socials - from initial idea through to the day itself
Take ownership of our monthly in-person day - organise the logistics, and make sure people enjoy and get value from it
Think creatively about how to make hybrid working feel genuinely connected - we want people to feel like they’re an intrinsic part of a team, even when working remotely
Support Cordic's presence at external industry events where relevant
Keep the office environment running well and ensure the team has what it needs
Marketing & Comms
Lend a hand with internal comms, social media posts, or marketing materials when the need arises
Support the team with ad hoc content or outreach tasks as required
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
The CEO and SLT have the support they need and can focus on what matters most
New starters feel genuinely welcomed and hit the ground running
HR queries are handled promptly, professionally, and without drama
Company events are well-organised and the team actually looks forward to them
Things don't fall through the cracks - because you're the person who makes sure they don't
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Experience & Skills
Previous experience supporting senior leaders (EA, PA, Executive Coordinator, or similar)
Proven exposure to HR administration - onboarding, policies, employee queries, or similar
Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities
A clear, confident communicator - in writing, on the phone, and in person
Comfortable handling sensitive or confidential information with discretion
Personal Qualities
A genuine "gets things done" attitude - you take ownership, follow through, and don't need chasing
Happy to turn your hand to whatever the business needs, however varied
Calm and adaptable under pressure - you figure things out without needing everything spelled out
Warm, approachable, and the kind of person colleagues feel comfortable coming to
Nice to Have
Familiarity with HR systems or tools
Experience organising team or company events
Comfort with tools like Notion, HubSpot, or AI assistants
